Don’t forget to come out and watch some of Region 8’s finest gymnasts at Port City Gymnastics’ 6th annual Hang 10.0 meet. It will be held at Topsail High School’s gymnasium.
Bring your little gymnast and let him/her see first hand the talent and skills that are possible at PCG!

NCSU Demo

Our PCG Team girls will perform at NC STATE during their next home meet on February 20th. The ‘Orange Crush’ girls have been practicing an energetic hip-hop dance number and will definitely put their groove on in the big house. We’re all looking forward to seeing the Wolfpack team compete against UNC and Nebraska. Ahwoo!!!
President’s Day - No School

NO SCHOOL - PRESIDENT’S DAY!
All Schools will be closed next Monday - February 15th. PCG will be open all day for day campers and regular classes/practice. Let your future Commander-in-Chief come hang out with George, Thomas, Theodore, Abraham and the rest of the gang here at PCG.

Athletic Development Conference
[ November 24, 2009; 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm. ] Dr. Dale Boyd (Cape Fear Sports Medicine) and Dan Duffy (Cape Fear Rehabilitation Services) will be conducting a seminar/conference regarding athlete development on Tuesday, November 24th at 7:00pm. The subject matter includes injury prevention and rehabilitation. Coaches & parents are invited to attend. The conference will be held in their new offices located at 6019 Oleander Drive.
NC Level 4 State Championship
[ December 12, 2009 to December 13, 2009. ]
The Level 4 State Meet will be hosted by Stanly County Gymnastics on Dec 12-13, 2009 in Albemarle, NC. Please encourage our gymnasts to do their best and wish them “Good Luck at States”.
NC Level 5/6 State Championship
[ December 5, 2009 to December 6, 2009. ]
The Level 5/6 State Meet will be held at Foothills Gymnastics in Hickory, NC on December 5-6, 2009. Only gymnasts who qualify with an all-around score of 32.00 or higher during the season are allowed to compete in this Championship.
