Happy New Year!
While it may seem that we fell off the map, we didn’t. We’re still here…. just busy as ever! I hope to stay in touch better and finally complete our website by adding information about Birthday Parties, etc. I apologize for the delay in getting that info on the site. Busy is good - but I hate to leave you hangin’ - wondering what’s new at PCG!
Watch out for overload and be prepared to receive lots of intel. Kinda like brain-freeze: it hurts a little, but well worth it. ;-}

Drop-N-Shop
Bring the kids to PCG - let them have a great time with us, while you shop for the Holidays. Ages 12 & under. We will be serving pizza or spaghetti each day, so you won’t have to worry about dinner!

Saturday, Dec 12th & 19th: 2pm-10pm
Sunday, Dec 6th, 13th & 20th: 12pm - 6pm
Prices: $5/hr for 1 child; $7/hr for 2 children; $10/ hr for 3 or more children (must be same family)

Stick-It Meet
Carolina Gymnastics Academy hosted their Stick-It Invitational last Sunday. Our Compulsory Team girls had a blast and did exceptionally well. Check out our Meet Champions page for result details. Several of our girls also received the coveted Bobble-Head Doll Award for “Sticking” all their routines. Thanks Becky & Michelle for a great day. Kudos to the caterer too - great eats!
Athletic Development Conference

Dr. Dale Boyd (Cape Fear Sports Medicine) and Dan Duffy (Cape Fear Rehabilitation Services) will be conducting a seminar/conference regarding athlete development on Tuesday, November 24th at 7:00pm. The subject matter includes injury prevention and rehabilitation. Coaches & parents are invited to attend. The conference will be held in their new offices located at 6019 Oleander Drive.

Gobble, Gobble, Gobble! ~ Port City Gymnasts LOVE turkey! We wish everyone a wonderful holiday and safe travels for those visiting families far away. Don’t forget the Cranberry Sauce & Pumpkin Pie!
The gym will be closed on Thursday & Friday (Nov. 26 & 27); however, we will be open on Saturday, November 28th. We will also have all-day care on Wednesday, November 25th - Students will be out of school that day.
NC Level 4 State Championship

The Level 4 State Meet will be hosted by Stanly County Gymnastics on Dec 12-13, 2009 in Albemarle, NC. Please encourage our gymnasts to do their best and wish them “Good Luck at States”.
