We thank the judges, coaches, gymnasts and their families for attending the 2013 Port City Classic. It was a successful event with 348 gymnasts competing in one of the first meets of the season. NC-USAG has tremendous depth and talent. We are so very proud of their efforts and encourage each of the girls to continue to work hard, knowing they will certainly improve their performances as the season progresses.

KID A PLOOZA & HEALTHY KIDS
Come out this Saturday and celebrate your great kid. PCG will be participating in two area community events.
KID A PLOOZA – Wilmington Arts Center, 3834 Oleander Drive (9am-3pm)
Kid-a-palooza is an annual one day festival event for families to showcase the talents of youth in music, dance, art and entertainment. It’s an opportunity for kids to display their talent to the public. The event features an area for performances, bounce houses and an appearance by Hello Kitty, made possible by Learning Express Toys. Exhibitors from a variety of family-friendly businesses will have festival tents set up on the grounds for information, handouts and samples. Admission is free as well as parking.
HEALTHY KIDS – Empie Park (9:30am-1pm)
The 2nd Annual Healthy Kids Day at Empie Park is presented by The City of Wilmington and the YMCA and features a variety of activities including tennis, soccer, golf, volleyball, and basketball sports stations with challenges and prizes; bicycle obstacle course; fantasy face painting; kids zumba, yoga, and bootcamp; health education booths; health screenings; farmers’ market; CPR demos, a running race, and more. HOURS: 9:30am to 1pm.
