YIPPEE! Yo Yo Happy Days!!! No more school after next week.
Kids are excited, parents are proud that they’ve concluded another year. Let your favorite girls/boys enjoy a wonderful summer here at PCG! They’ll have crafts and special activities each day, field trips on Tuesday & Thursday mornings, and more fun than you can imagine. Check out our Summer Camps page under the Programs tab. Each week has a theme and we always include an educational element. Give us a call to reserve your spot or stop by the gym to see our new setup. We’re remodeling our front gym to create even more room… for MORE FUN!!!

Port City Kids’ Group, Inc. (parent company to Port City Gymnastics and Port City Elite Cheer) along with Hampton Inn, Eastwood Road/University Area, is proud to announce that they have been chosen to host the 2010 North Carolina State Levels 7-10 Gymnastics Championships.
FOR THE 2ND YEAR IN A ROW, PORT CITY GYMNASTICS has been awarded the honor of hosting a North Carolina State Gymnastics Championship. These Championships are held at the end of each competition season to determine the Regional qualifiers. This year, we will be hosting over 375 gymnasts from all areas of North Carolina, each competing for a chance to advance to the Regional Competition. Port City Gymnastics has eight such gymnasts, levels 7, 8 and 9. The NC State Meet will be held at the new Topsail High School gymnasium in Hampstead on Friday, March 19th through Sunday, March 21, 2010. Visit our Meets page to get more details and competition times. Come watch some of North Carolina’s most talented gymnasts as they perform in one of the toughest sports of all sports: GYMNASTICS.
In 2009, one of PCG’s top athletes, Emily McKinney, competed in the Level 8 Regionals in Atlanta, Georgia. This year, she will be competing for a spot in the Level 9 Regionals to be held in Clemson, South Carolina; where she will try for an opportunity to compete in the Level 9 Eastern Division Championships in Charleston, West Virginia. Encourage your local gymnasts and experience the true beauty and strength of these young women, March 19-21, 2010 - Topsail High School.

Fans can enjoy live coverage of 2010 Tyson American Cup and Nastia Liukin Supergirl Cup
through USA Gymnastics, NBC Sports, and Universal Sports
This weekend, fans can enjoy two gymnastics events on television and online. The entire 2010 Tyson American Cup will be shown live on March 6 on both television - Universal Sports carries the action from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. ET and NBC Sports from 1-3 p.m. ET - or on the Web on usa-gymnastics.org from 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m. ET. The inaugural Nastia Liukin Supergirl Cup will air live on Universal Sports at 7 p.m. ET on March 5, with a simultaneous Web cast on universalsports.com. In addition, www.usa-gymnastics.org will have enhanced coverage of both events, including interviews, live results, start lists and photo galleries. And is also available on smart phones. Tickets are still available for both events, which are being held at the DCU Center in Worcester, Mass.

PreTeam Meet
PCG hosted our first PreTeam Meet of 2010. Ten beautiful girls performed skills for their family & friends and PCG’s team coaches. They were awarded PCG medals and posters of NCSU gymnasts.
