Port City Gymnastics will be offering intersession camp for year round schools.  We will go on field trips to Beach Bowl and local parks.  We will do arts and crafts every Monday.  On Tuesday, we will play active games in the back gym.  We will go bowling at Beach Bowl on Wednesday.  On Thursday, we will watch a movie and eat popcorn and nachos.  We will go to the park on Friday.  Everyday the children will have access to both gyms as well as our outside play area.  Intersession Camp will be $130.00 for the week or $35.00 a day.  Spots are limited, so call today to reserve one for your child!

It's hard to believe that we are already a month into the school year. Afterschool has been awesome so far! During the week, we stick to our normal routine of snack, free play in the gyms (the children's favorite part :) ), homework, then pick up.  On Friday's since there isn't any homework, we do Fun Friday's.  Fun Friday consists of a fun activity to reward the afterschooler's for having such an awesome week. We have had three fun Fridays so far! We made ice cream sundaes, and even though we had some messy faces, the kids we all smiles! We played Minute to Win it.  The favorite game was cookie face.   The kids had to place a cookie on their forehead and try to wiggle it down to their mouth without using their hands. Believe it or not, several of the kids we able to do this. The next week, we made candy necklaces.  The kids loved getting to eat the necklaces afterward.  I think it's safe to say Friday is the favorite day of the week!
